Calls for government of national unity while atrocious violence takes place

Former president of Zambia Kenneth Kaunda has called for a government of national unity headed by Robert Mugabe. This comes in the background of increased violence against opposition members. In Zaka, on Tuesday night, soldiers and security agents ran havoc killing innocent civilians. Meanwhile the Specialist Doctors in Zimbabwe said that nearly 3000 people have been injured in political violence since the March 29 vote. As Zimbabweans head for the run off, unity between the two MDC factions is reported to be on shaky ground.
