ZimWatch in Zimbabwe

The main work in Zimbabwe is being done by the different programs of the Zimbabwe Watch members. Together the Zimbabwe Watch members cover a range of different fields, which include peace and reconciliation, the extractive industries, freedom of media and human rights and democratization programs.

The different Zimbabwean partner organisations are crucial in providing input to the lobby and advocacy focus of Zimbabwe Watch. As such, Zimbabwe Watch remains structurally linked with Zimbabwean civil society. These linkages also lead to capacity building initiatives for Zimbabwean organisations.

	Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition The Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition is a collective of civil society organisations. The vision of the Coalition is a democratic Zimbabwe www.crisiszimbabwe.org
	Nango – National Association of Non-Governmental Organizations NANGO is the umbrella organization of virtually all NGOs operating in Zimbabwe. They work with regional headquarters from where they assist NGO operations. http://www.nango.org.zw/
	Zela - Zimbabwean Environmental Lawyers Association Zela works to protect Zimbabwe's environment and the people that live in it. They work on increased transparency in the extractive industries. http://www.zela.org/
	Zimbabwe Electoral Support Network ZESN, NGO coalition co-ordinating activities on elections, promoting democratic processes and free and fair elections. Includes reports. http://www.zesn.org.zw
	Solidarity Peace Trust SPT assists individuals, organisations, churches and affiliated organisations in Southern Africa, to build solidarity in the pursuit of justice, peace and social equality and equity in Zimbabwe.
