ZimWatch in Europe

The Zimbabwe Europe Network (ZEN) was launched in October 2008 to ensure that the EU and its member states stay engaged on Zimbabwe and that the perspectives and recommendations of Zimbabwean civil society shape its future policy decisions. In a short period ZEN has positioned itself as the main EU-Zimbabwe platform in which European and Zimbabwean civil society closely cooperate.

By being actively involved in ZEN the work of Zimbabwe Watch, and its members and partner organisations in Zimbabwe, can be placed in a broader framework of civil society lobby and advocacy, both at the European and regional (SADC) level. The network enables Zimbabwe Watch to exchange information with like-minded European organisations and coordinate activities and lobby efforts on the European level.
