Home affairs ministry struggle

The SADC troika has indicated that only the ministry of Home Affairs remains the bone of contention between the country's two major parties and hence no deal could be reached to operationalise the agreement on power sharing. A full SADC summit will be called in the next week to see if the issue can be resolved. However, there seem not to be hope for the deal as the MDC is still undecided about attending if their leader is not issued with a passport. Meanwhile revelations have it that the document signed by the parties was not the original one and was doctored by ZANU PF and MDC Mutambara with the help of the south african mediators. A new President(Banda) has since been elected in neighbouring Zambia.
