Still suffering; deal ellusive!
Zimbabweans continue to suffer immensely as political parties fail to agree on ministerial allocations. An attempt by SADC to intervene through the security troika failed when Tsvangirai was denied a passport by the Registrar's office only to be issued with an emergence travelling document late sunday evening. The meeting has since been postponed and rescheduled to Harare on Monday the 27th of October 2009. In the meantime, war veterans are threatening action against Tsvangirai for allegedly scuttling the power sharing deal. The Kenyan Prime Ministar, Odinga has called for tougher action against Robert Mugabe. Civic society activists have however encouraged the opposition to keep on negotiating until an amicable solution is found for the sake of the suffering masses of Zimbabwe.
