A Worsening Crisis

The crisis in Zimbabwe continues to worsen at an unprecedented level. The introduction of news higher denomination notes by the Reserve Bank led to further crush of the Zimbabwe Dollar. The political situation also continues to deteriorate as the deal to form a unity government seems headed for complete failure. ZANU PF has increased its vindictive tactics on the population by abducting prominent activist Jestina Mukoko. 5 days after her abduction, her whereabouts are still unknown. The international community has increased their calls for Mugabe's removal whist the South African government has told the political leaders in Zimbabwe to put people's lives first. Meanwhile, ZANU PF political commissar, Eliot Manyika died Saturday in a car crush.
