Zimbabwe was forced into a one man election on friday the 22nd after the withdrawal of opposition leader, Morgan Tsvangirai. RG Mugabe, went on to declare himself winner in the elction with about 85% of the vote.

The movement for democratic change pulled out of the runoff on sunday 22, after their rally had been violently stopped by ZANU PF militias. Mr Tsvangirai said they would not ask their supporters to vote when that vote could mean losing their lives
